It is with deep regret that we announce the immediate closure of the Anglo-Saxon Laboratory, Textile Research, and Pangur Press. This is due to the sad passing of Penelope Walton Rogers, who died peacefully after a short illness on 10th November 2023.

The Anglo-Saxon Laboratory provides a service in the field of Anglo-Saxon, Anglo-Scandinavian and Merovingian archaeology. We compile research reports on artefacts, manage post-excavation projects and advise museums on the authentic reconstruction of early medieval life.

The manager/proprietor is Penelope Walton Rogers.
